The team has shown progress each round with Haga finishing on the podiium at Suzuka.
Two practice sessions took place on Day 1, and the circuit being the first time for both riders, did not stop the team from aking progress. Haga finished 6th in Practice 1. Both riders, improved their laptime in the 2nd session.
Day 2 will see Free Practice 3, as well as, Qualifying, and Race 1.
Rafid Topan Sucipto | #25
I like the course very much, but I couldn’t take a grip of the course just yet. We have Race 1 tomorrow, so there’s isn’t much time, but I hope to find the best setting in Practice 3 and Qualifying for the race.Noriyuki Haga | #41
I had a good feeling with my bike in Practice 1, but we went the wrong direction in Practice 2, and couldn’t make progress with the setting. This course consists of may middle and high speed corners, so it is important that the bike turns without killing the speed. We will try tomorrow the setting to do that.Yukio Kagayama | General Manager
We are the only team in the series, where it is the first time at Chang International Circuit for both the team and the riders. This is a big disadvantage, but all we need to do is to challenge.Haga did great in Free Practice 1. It seems that he missed the setting in Pracice 2, but I think that it was good that we found what is right and wrong on the first day. I hope he will find a better setting tomorrow, and be well prepared for the race.
We have a race tomorrow, and I heard that all tickets are sold out. We hope to show our best to the many spectators that are coming to the track.
