  • Team KAGAYAMA 2019 Team Announcement

    Team KAGAYAMA will continue our 9th season  in the MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship JSB1000 category, but will make big changes to the team. The team will will change to “TK SUZUKI BLUE MAX” and Takuya Tsuda (33 years old) will carry the role as the ace rider to lead the team to win the Championship

    Naomichi Uramoto (24 years old) will continue to race in the ESBK Spanish Championship in the SBK Class. He will be racing again with Team SUZUKI JEG/KAGAYAMA Racing. Uramoto, in his second year in Spain, will aim for the Championship title with the team.

    The team is also planning to participate in its 7th consecutive Suzuka 8Hours. Riders are yet to be announced.

    Team owner, Yukio Kagayama, will race full time in the MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship JSB1000 category, with YOSHIMURA SUZUKI MOTUL. He will continue to make an environment where both the Japanese and the overseas riders can race in every part of the world.

I have raced with DUNLOP at the 2012 Suzuka 8Hours, as well as Le Mans and the Endurance World Championship, and I believe that the experience with DUNLOP is the base of where I am right now, and I have good memories with them. I was able to race with the top group towards the end of last season, so I am going to try to achieve good results from the season opener, and stay as a title contender until the end of the season. This season would be an important season for me to continue to race overseas in the future. I am going to do my best and hope to be able to end the season with good results.”
